We’ve missed you. And apparently, you missed us. MODchicago is back for 2010 with The Simple Headphone Mind, the 8th Our Way of Thinking weekender, June 10, 11, and 12.

The DJ line-up is, you guessed it, our best yet. We pride ourselves on bringing DJs to Chicago that aren’t often near these parts, giving you a premier opportunity to check out what’s happening in scenes across the States and in Europe. The MODchicago sound covers fuzzed out mod and garage rockers, street level rnb, northern pounders, psych explorations, and dancefloor favorites.

We have two new venues for 2010 as well. The Liars Club has been a local favorite for years, and we’re happy to open up Thursday night here. Two floors, great loud sound, cozy dancefloor, and super staff. We’ll be back for the record swap too. Saturday night we’ll be at the Late Bar, Chicago’s newest 5am venue. That’s right, we’ll go till 5. Owners Dave & Kristine continue to support the scene with DJs of all stripes getting a chance to spin at Late Bar.
